Miss Charlotte

Dance Teacher

Enhanced DBS Checked - Public Liability Insurance

Charlotte first started dancing as a child aged 8, and soon developed a love and passion for performing. She became heavily involved in many dance and musical theatre productions at GCSE level and beyond.

She found her love for Freestyle Disco at a Dance School in Telford, where she began competing in freestyle competitions all over the country, winning many trophies as well as gaining her IDTA qualifications.

Charlotte now shares her love of dance with her two girls and encourages them to follow in her footsteps.

Her eldest daughter has attended Gem Academy since age 2, and absolutely loves it!

Charlotte joins Gem Academy to share her freestyle dance technique and also encourage the students to have fun in dance!

Trainee Teacher Miss Charlotte

Charlotte has dancing since the age of 5 and joined Enchants at age 12 and stayed with Gemma with the move to Gem Academy. Charlotte has always been interested in Dance and gained a GCSE A Grade in dance at Abraham Darby.

Currently, Charlotte has just completed a Level 3 Btec Diploma dance course at Arts1 in Milton Keynes. Through this course she has been able to explore all of the aspects of dance and musical theatre. This has enabled Charlotte to maintain her
strengths and to improve her weaknesses to continue to get better.

Charlotte has done several other things within the industry such as  work experience with Gem Academy. During this time Charlotte got the opportunity to teach and observe lessons and also begin to discover and understand the theory side of a business in the industry. This was really useful because it gave Charlotte a chance to see a different side of the dance world. Charlotte has also taken part in many dance shows with the Academy and her college.

Charlotte is currently auditioning for stage schools and universities to gain her degree in Dance as well as teaching at Gem Academy at the weekends.

Assistance Teacher
Miss Molly

Molly has been dancing for as long as she can remember; all the way up from baby ballet to A Level Dance. As well as dancing herself, she have taught a range of dance classes for 3-4 years consisting of many different primary schools, secondary school clubs, solo classes and much more! If Molly had to pick one, her favourite dance discipline is Jazz but she loves performing a range of styles such as Musical Theatre, Tap, Ballet, Commercial and Contemporary. Molly's biggest piece of advice to any young performer would be to show your enthusiasm and excitement for dance through your face with a big, beaming smile! Being able to teach and pass on her passion for dance to younger performers is amazing. Molly can’t wait to get stuck in at Gem Academy!
